Hennessey’s new Ford Mustang is Monstrous

Hennessey Monster Mustang

Ford Mustang is a mean machine and no one would deny it, but what will happen when it will kick more ponies out of its V8, even more than Saleen

Hennessey has gained quite some reputation in customising cars and now secure a high position as one of the best customizers especially for Ford Mustang. For all speed lovers, the all-new 2015 HPE700 has more kicking ponies than the standard and Hennessey claims their beast is going to be one mean machine which would beat Roush Mustangs and even the Saleen.

But what this monster has under the hood which will make any muscle car aficionado drool? The standard Ford engine has 435 horses under the hood, but Hennessey added a new supercharger along with few other bits and pieces. And the result is a whopping 717 horses almost the double from the standard 5.0 litre V8.

With this kind of power ragging under the hood, a quarter mile run takes only 11.2 seconds with a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.6 seconds. When the car is running at that speed, the Brembo brakes are the only thing to stop it, so 15 inch brakes are behind the 20 inch wheels is fair enough.

Hennessey’s top speed is still a closely guarded secret but one thing we do know it would be 200+ mph. This kind of speed needed the weight to be brought down so Hennessey used carbon fibre for the front and rear diffusers, side skirts, smaller boot spoiler and sportier bumpers.

You can have one of these in just £40,560 and if you really want one better hurry as Hennessey is going to make only 500 examples of it.
